Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony between Vikomed and the Vietnam Medical Device Association

On March 11, 2026 - Vikomed had the honor of welcoming representatives from the Vietnam Medical Device Association to visit and work at its manufacturing facility. The meeting took place in an open and positive atmosphere, marking an important milestone in establishing and strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two parties in the coming period.

During the meeting, representatives of the Vietnam Medical Device Association expressed their appreciation for Vikomed’s persistent development journey in the Vietnamese market. Despite various challenges over different stages, Vikomed has continuously invested in innovation and expansion, gradually affirming its position as a leading domestic manufacturer of X-ray equipment and emerging as one of the representative enterprises in Southeast Asia in the field of diagnostic imaging technology. The Association believes that with its technological foundation, manufacturing capabilities, and long-term development vision, Vikomed will continue to contribute significantly to the advancement of Vietnam’s medical device industry and expand toward regional and international markets.

The Association also emphasized three key factors in the development and commercialization of Vikomed’s products in Vietnam, including equipment quality, technical service and after-sales support, as well as a reasonable pricing policy. These are considered core elements that help enterprises enhance competitiveness, build trust with healthcare facilities, and establish a strong foundation for sustainable growth in the industry.

In addition, the Association acknowledged and highly appreciated Vikomed’s initiative in being one of the first companies to register for participation in the National Medical Device Conference scheduled to be held in Da Nang this coming May. Vikomed’s active participation demonstrates its commitment to supporting the Association’s professional activities and contributing to the connection and development of the medical device community in Vietnam.

In the coming time, the Vietnam Medical Device Association expressed its desire to have more opportunities to exchange and collaborate with Vikomed’s professional departments, such as the technical team, product development division, and other related units. Through these interactions, both parties can enhance mutual understanding of operational processes, technological capabilities, and development orientations, thereby opening up more practical and effective cooperation opportunities.

Representatives of Vikomed also extended their sincere appreciation to the Vietnam Medical Device Association for its attention and time dedicated to the visit and working session at the company. Vikomed reaffirmed its commitment to closely coordinate with the Association in professional activities, strengthening connections within the business community, and promoting the development of the medical device industry, with the goal of delivering meaningful value to the healthcare system and society.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishing a foundation for future cooperation programs. Following the signing ceremony, the delegation toured Vikomed’s manufacturing facility to learn more about its production processes, technical systems, as well as the products and technological solutions currently being developed by the company.

This event is expected to lay the groundwork for a long-term partnership between Vikomed and the Vietnam Medical Device Association, contributing to the sustainable development of the medical device industry in Vietnam.
